The Youth Spirit Village consists of 8' x 10' tiny houses that provide transitional housing for 18 to 25 year olds for up to 2 years. The initial prototype was designed and built in 2018 with input and assistance from Youth Spirit members. The design was then modified and built by volunteers twenty-two times over in East Oakland. The Village is managed by on-site staff and provides services including mental wellness, job clinics and support finding permanent housing to all members.
