Design Proposal

The proposal focused on creating a mixed-income development on a 1.5 acre parcel in central Seattle. A two-story parking garage covers most of the site, using a grade change of twenty feet to minimize above ground prominence. Two distinct projects are built on top of the parking structure in an effort to provide a dignified environment for all residents; the south of the site is a 100-unit development of townhouse-style affordable housing for 50% or less AMI. On the north is a 24-story tower with a combination of market and affordable units for 80% or less AMI.
