Nestled in the woods of Sonoma County, this small cabin in the trees was to serve as a retreat for small gatherings and solitude with nature. Through parametric scripts a three-dimensional representation of the space was created, then further developed to include a winding staircase that adhered to the inside edge of the facade. Once conceptual design was complete refinement took place between Rhino and Revit, creating bid documents, material takeoffs and structural framing in an effort to create a buildable and affordable solution.
