As the lines between Architecture, Engineering and Construction continue to blur, new tools become more urgent than typical development allows for. Utilizing APIs and coding languages like Python and C#, modifications can be made on the fly to existing software such as Revit and Rhino. Some initial forays into this work included a plugin using Revit API that could modify family parameters using Excel, custom scripts in Dynamo for complex weighted calculations and extensions of Rhino Inside Revit's capabilities to expose elements that are not accessible within the base plugin.
